According to IMDB, Ripper Street is:
A new drama set in the East End of London in 1889 during the aftermath of Jack The Ripper murders. The infamous H Division - the police precinct charged with keeping order in the district of Whitechapel- is in a chaotic state trying to keep order after a tumultuous time for London and reported infamously worldwide.
It looks like it’ll begin airing either at the end of 2012 or early 2013 (there’s no premiere date but the second ep is listed on IMDB as Jan 1 2013…so…)
Iain’s website lists him as playing Colonel Faulkner, though he is not yet listed on IMDB nor do we know how many episodes he’ll appear in.
Jerome Flynn is listed on IMDB as playing “Detective Sergeant Bennet Drake” for at least 2 episodes.
Matthew Macfayden is listed as a series cast member.
Episode guest stars, according to IMDB include: David Oakes (ep 8), Prisoners’ Wives star Emma Rigby, Paul McGann (possibly ep 9 it appears).
Ripper Street will be debuting on BBCAmerica on a Wednesday in October as a part of Dramaville.
This admin is counting down the days!
Firstly she will be on your screen in October in a new BBC drama Ripper Street, she will play the character of Lucy Eames, but she will only be in one episode, which is episode 4 and it’s titled, The Warrens of the Poor.
Then she will also be in the first episode of The Job Lot which is expected to air in 2013. She was meant to be in the whole series but due to a big film role she couldn’t take part in the rest of the series. Her character name hasn’t been announced yet.
She is currently filming her debut in a film, where she has the female lead. She will play Rebecca. The filming is going on now in Germany and Morocco. It is called The Physician and should be out next year.
